Lake District is a national park of England. It is located in the county of Cumbria at the North-West of England. Lake District or the Lakes is the largest National Park of the country, and as many agree the most beautiful one. It is outstanding in other ways too because the most high mountain (Scafell Pike), the deepest lake (Wast Water), and the largest lake (Windermere) of England are located here, in the Lake District.
Lake District is visited by tourists from all over the world. But “Why?” you may ask. The answer is simple – you can find here not only fascinating nature, but enjoy it to the full by swimming in the clearest lake, or walking on the Fells, cycling, taking boat trips on the lakes, breathing the clearest maritime air and many many other pleasant things.
